Borrowed a rifle from Joel H. at New Moon. He was a junior National champ in '87 or so. I tried a novice race last spring and it was a lot of fun. Plus it'll give me something to extend my ski season.

How about you? Got any spring races out there?

I'm going to try the City of Lakes this year. Other times it seemed like we didn't have snow or it was super cold.

Did a pursuit race by Ironwood and Seeley classic so far.

I'm hoping to do some racing this year and hopefully more next year. So far life has gotten in the way. I was going along pretty well for time committments until my kids started approaching college age and I started realizing I was gonna have to come up with some more bucks.
I do like this "facebook for skiers". It gives a sense of how many folks are out there doing the nordic thing.
